Well, hello everybody, and welcome back to another episode of Adult Child of Dysfunction.
Speaker A:Today we have with us Dr. Tanya English, also known as the soul chiropractor.
Speaker A:She's been practicing healing for over 35 years as first as a massage therapist, then a chiropractor, an energy healer and a blues singer.
Speaker A:She is with the Tanya English Band.
Speaker A:She provides a path for her clients to go from powerless to protected and peaceful.
Speaker A:Welcome, Dr. Tanya.
Speaker A:How are you?
Speaker B:Thank you so much, Tammy.
Speaker B:I'm glad to be here.
Speaker A:I'm good, good, good.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:I love it when on one of the questions somewhere I was reading when I sent out a questionnaire or whatever and you're put, you put, I may have to sing or do you mind if I sing?
Speaker A:And I was like, oh, yeah, let's make this Ask me, just ask me.
Speaker B:And I'll do it.
Speaker A:So, yeah, no, and I love blues music, so maybe we'll have a little at the end.
Speaker A:So, yeah, so you do energy healing, you do chiropractor, you do all of those things.
Speaker A:And I'm assuming that all of you.
Speaker A:I'm going to jump right in.
Speaker A:I'm just going to jump right in because your story is going to be sprinkled throughout all of this.
Speaker A:What got you into music?
Speaker A:I'm going to ask you.
Speaker B:Well, you know, as a child, I mean, we listened to all kinds of music in my home.
Speaker B:We had everything from folks singing to the Beatles to the Rolling Stones to yes.
Speaker B:And my sister was a three years older, so she was always bringing in the cool stuff.
Speaker B:And my parents listened to everything from big band to shows to show tunes and all that, so it was always around.
Speaker B:And then when I went to school, I was in choir, so I got to sing Handel's Messiah and, and all kinds of wonderful things like that.
Speaker B:So I've always loved music.
Speaker B:And then when I got into my 40s, I started singing every so often with my husband's blues band.
Speaker B:And then I would show up and people would ask me if I was going to sing.
Speaker B:So they wanted me to sing.
Speaker B:I was kind of doing it for myself because I thought I, I can do this and I'd like to this.
Speaker B:My background's in theater.
Speaker B:And so I started singing and people said, well, why aren't you two doing a band together?
Speaker B:So I asked Ed if he wanted to be my bass player.
Speaker B:And he knows bass players, so he said, yes, I will be your bass player.
Speaker B:You don't need to go to any other bass players.
Speaker B:So, so 15 years ago, I started my band My first band ever, when I was 50 years old.
Speaker A:Oh, that's fun.
Speaker A:That's super fun.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:So.
Speaker A:And you sing the blues.
Speaker A:Are you gonna sing some for us right now?
Speaker B:Yeah, I'll sing my.
Speaker B:My theme song.
Speaker B:Healing with the Blues.
Speaker B:That's right.
Speaker B:I'm healing with the blues I've got nothing left to lose that's why I'm healing with the blues Such a pain inside the love that's there for me I have denied I've never had the blues this long this deep, this wide that's why I'm healing with the blues.
Speaker A:I love it.
Speaker A:And very healing.
Speaker A:So I'm gonna jump.
Speaker A:That's good.
Speaker A:Jumps me right in, dude.
Speaker A:Because music is so incredibly powerful.
Speaker A:I had on a couple weeks ago.
Speaker A:I don't even know if it's aired yet.
Speaker A:Rock and Rob Tonkin.
Speaker A:Who.
Speaker A:I don't know if you've heard of that name, but he was.
Speaker A:He worked with a lot of the big bands and stuff way back when.
Speaker A:But he said that he was just.
Speaker A:His childhood was so rough, and music was his escape.
Speaker A:It was.
Speaker A:It was his.
Speaker A:It was his therapy, basically, is what he said.
Speaker A:Do you find that with a lot of the people that you work with?
Speaker B:Well, I find it is true for me, and I know it's true for everybody, because music is vibration.
Speaker B:And that since we're all vibrational beings, we all are made up of vibration, then why wouldn't it be healing?
Speaker B:So one of the things that people do when they've gone through a breakup is they listen to sad songs.
Speaker B:Why are they doing that if they already feel sad?
Speaker B:Because it's matching their vibration of the emotion, and it helps bring it out.
Speaker B:So you might cry at a sad song, but you're releasing those feelings.
Speaker B:And that's the most important thing you can do for healing, is to release feelings that maybe are negative, but it's okay to have negative feelings.
Speaker B:Like, I know that there's this whole school of thought where you cancel your negative thought and you say, cancel, cancel, cancel.
Speaker B:But really it's like, no, I'm acknowledging it.
Speaker B:I'm owning it, and I'm honoring it.
Speaker B:And now it can go, right?
Speaker A:No, I don't believe.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:We've spent our whole lives being taught not to have a negative thought and to be positive and to put on this.
Speaker B:I roll my eyes at that because it's like, why would you do that?
Speaker B:We're human beings.
Speaker B:We're going to have negative thoughts.
Speaker B:The idea is that you use that as a signal to fill up with more joy, more love, more good thoughts.
Speaker B:It's a signal, just like a gas gauge.
Speaker B:So you see the gas gauge go toward E. You don't tell yourself how stupid you are, how dumb you are, what an idiot you are.
Speaker B:You don't say those things.
Speaker B:You just go get more gas.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker B:Not a judgment.
Speaker B:So when you're thinking about.
Speaker B:When you're having a negative thought and you're like, geez, you know, I really.
Speaker B:I really feel bad about that.
Speaker B:I wish I hadn't said that or look, just.
Speaker B:No.
Speaker B:Oh.
Speaker B:This is a signal to me that I need to fill up with good stuff.
Speaker B:Because I'm kind of going over this again and again.
Speaker B:And then what I work on with people is these patterns of physiology that the emotions are causing that have been memorized over many years that are.
Speaker B:That are creating the dis.
Speaker B:Ease in the body.
Speaker A:Absolutely.
Speaker A:And yeah, music, I mean, like you said, it's vibrational.
Speaker A:There's no way.
Speaker A:I was talking to someone the other day and they were just wanted to, like, holler.
Speaker A:And they were like, I'm so angry.
Speaker A:I want to holler.
Speaker A:I said, well, I got an idea.
Speaker A:How about hum.
Speaker A:Just hum something.
Speaker A:And they were like, why hum?
Speaker A:I said, because it just.
Speaker A:It's.
Speaker A:It literally vibrates all the way down to your soul.
Speaker A:And it just.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:You know.
Speaker B:Pop Staples has a song that he wrote called why Am I Treated so Bad?
Speaker B:Why Am I Treated so Bad?
Speaker B:And in the song, look it up on YouTube.
Speaker B:It's great.
Speaker B:He talks about his grandmother or his mother humming and going.
Speaker B:And he's like, why are you doing that?
Speaker B:She said, because then the devil doesn't even know what I'm thinking.
Speaker A:Oh, wow.
Speaker B:So that's the humming part right there.
Speaker B:It's like, I don't need the words.
Speaker B:God knows the words.
Speaker B:Like a little kid who gets lost in the woods.
Speaker B:I don't know how to pray, so I'm just going to say the Alphabet.
Speaker B:And God can put the words together.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker B:We don't need to know.
Speaker A:No, not at all.
Speaker A:So you do a variety of things with your customers or your clients?
Speaker B:Yeah, clients are the ones that I work with.
Speaker B:Online patients are people who walk through the door.
Speaker A:Yeah, I was going to say there's probably a distinct.
Speaker A:Definitely a distinction.
Speaker A:But you.
Speaker A:What is probably the.
Speaker A:One of the biggest challenges that your clients slash, patients are facing today?
Speaker B:They're feeling stuck, and they're stuck in these old patterns that create more stuckness, more fear, more upset because they've been taught or they somehow understood maybe Misunderstood that they are not worthy of having all the good things.
Speaker B:They're not worthy of love, for instance.
Speaker B:They're not worthy of having money, having more than enough, being able to be generous.
Speaker B:They're not worthy.
Speaker B:And because of that, that repetition of not being worthy, it can really work on us.
Speaker B:And we have to be able to somehow break that pattern.
Speaker B:So the work that I do is really like a pattern interrupt.
Speaker B:So the body is going, what?
Speaker B:You want me to do what?
Speaker B:Look over here, do this breathing.
Speaker B:Think of this positive thought.
Speaker B:I can't do all that at once.
Speaker B:Somebody asked me the other day, this is one of the techniques that I use, Bioenergetic synchronization technique.
Speaker B:It's called BEST for short.
Speaker B:That's the acronym.
Speaker B:They said, I can't really do all those things.
Speaker B:I said, well, that's kind of the point, right?
Speaker B:We're interrupting.
Speaker B:You're thinking about this recurring thought.
Speaker B:I find that it makes your body have a reaction, which it would be a muscle test with the arm falling.
Speaker B:And I'm seeing that that reaction is interfering with you being able to hold your arm up.
Speaker B:You said, you're going to hold your arm up.
Speaker B:You can't hold your arm up.
Speaker B:So what's happening?
Speaker B:And this works with people online too.
Speaker B:We just do it a little differently, right?
Speaker B:People in the office, I'm saying I'm telling them the same things that I've told someone online.
Speaker B:Think of this number.
Speaker B:The.
Speaker B:That's an energetic number.
Speaker B:Think of this positive feeling anytime that you've had it, first time that you've had it in your life.
Speaker B:So going back, like skipping a stone through your life going, when did I feel joy?
Speaker B:When was the first time I can remember feeling joy?
Speaker B:And people say, well, I can't remember that.
Speaker B:I'm like, just go to the time that you can remember.
Speaker B:We're not trying to make you do something impossible here.
Speaker B:Just go to a time that you can remember.
Speaker B:See if that's the earliest.
Speaker B:Maybe there's something.
Speaker B:Oh, yeah, there's a time before that, thinking of these positive things while changing your breathing, pointing your eyes in a certain location, because that corresponds to different areas of the brain, right?
Speaker B:And me holding contacts on their.
Speaker B:On their cerebellum, cerebrum on their head.
Speaker B:And when I'm using, when I'm doing it online, I'm using a surrogate to do that.
Speaker B:But when we're doing that, their pulsing is like, kind of crazy.
Speaker B:And we wait for the pulse to become synchronous, therefore bioenergetic Synchronization technique.
Speaker B:So when we're doing that technique, and I'm also using EFT with people and a bunch of other things, theta healing that I call intuitive soul healing method.
Speaker B:And when we're using those techniques, we're actually getting to the root of what the, what the problem is.
Speaker B:So the problem might be, for instance, somebody being told throughout their childhood, my way or the highway, you're not doing it right.
Speaker B:Constantly having to strive for perfection so that they can get the affection and the food and the love that they need in order to grow.
Speaker B:So we go along to get along through our.
Speaker B:Throughout our childhood.
Speaker B:And when we have things happen to us, traumatic events happen to us, it gets memorized and our body just does it automatically.
Speaker B:So when we have those things called triggers, then we, our body starts doing the physiology for the time that's in the past.
Speaker B:So there's four ways that people have disease toxicity.
Speaker B:So that could be anything from, you know, detergent on your clothes to additives in your food, trauma, which could be stepping off a curb wrong or being in a car accident, anything like that.
Speaker B:Thoughts, you can think any stinking thought you want and keep it going.
Speaker B:And then timing, which is what we were just talking about.
Speaker B:Your body's doing something that it memorized and it does it with a trigger, it starts doing it or.
Speaker B:And I've cleared those from people who have been in their 60s, 70s, and 80s, that started when they were five years old.
Speaker A:Yeah, I was going to say even in utero.
Speaker A:Yeah, I was going to say it doesn't matter when it gets stuck there until you get it out, it's going to stay there unless we interrupt that pattern.
Speaker B:Then healing can start because now we know how to do that.
Speaker B:So using all those different techniques, we can get at the root cause and actually go back and heal the past too.
Speaker A:And how long, just hypothetically, how long of a process is this for someone if they're like, oh, because I know it's stuck.
Speaker A:Like, I. I just did an episode not too long ago and the girl, her book, I think, or her whole program is called ST sucks.
Speaker A:And.
Speaker A:And it's true.
Speaker A:But like a lot of people.
Speaker A:I know, right?
Speaker A:But it's like a lot of people, like, what, what is stuck?
Speaker A:Like, what does that look like?
Speaker B:It looks like a lot of different things.
Speaker B:It looks like always getting angry about something and having a really short fuse.
Speaker B:That's one way you can be stuck.
Speaker B:Another way is like having a flat affect, not feeling like doing anything unmotivated, just no ambition whatsoever.
Speaker B:Not feeling like you have any good ideas.
Speaker B:Constantly shooting your idea, your own ideas down.
Speaker B:You know, being stuck can mean that you're in it.
Speaker B:You keep changing jobs, but you have the same boss every time.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker B:Or you're keep changing relationships, but it's the same boyfriend every time or girlfriend.
Speaker B:It that.
Speaker B:It's always the thing that you're trying to work against and you actually draw it toward you.
Speaker A:Absolutely.
Speaker A:And a lot of times people's in.
Speaker B:Relationships, they're trying to work out their parental relationships, and they keep replacing their.
Speaker B:Their partner with somebody like their parents so that they can work that relationship out.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:It's not a great way, by the way.
Speaker A:No, I was gonna say, but we, you know, there's a.
Speaker A:Like I was gonna say, there's so many reasons why we get stuck.
Speaker A:Stuck with.
Speaker A:We get like, pick those bad relationships, and unfortunately, a lot of it is just conditioning and comfortability.
Speaker A:And also, like you said, trying to literally finish something that wasn't finished to begin with and finish it on someone different.
Speaker B:Get it out of your relationship with the parent who is the abuser or dysfunctional, maybe both are.
Speaker B:And you keep putting people in their place as your partner so that you can try to heal the relationship.
Speaker B:But actually what works way better is healing yourself, Staying away from a relationship for a while while you're doing that, so you can work it out for yourself and learn the lessons that you need to learn from that.
Speaker B:And then being able to say, okay, now that's not what I want.
Speaker B:This is what I do want.
Speaker B:And making a list.
Speaker B:I'm serious.
Speaker B:I did this.
Speaker B:And this is how I found my husband.
Speaker B:We've been together over 35 years.
Speaker B:I wrote a list of what I really wanted in a relationship because I was settling for something else that wasn't real.
Speaker B:It wasn't what I really wanted.
Speaker B:But I kept thinking, oh, this is what it's supposed to do.
Speaker B:So when I realized it's not supposed to be that much work, it's supposed to be, like, easy and fun.
Speaker B:They call it falling in love because you don't have to do anything.
Speaker B:You just fall.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker B:And so I started making that list.
Speaker B:And within about a year, he showed up.
Speaker A:There you go.
Speaker B:And started checking things off right away.
Speaker A:Yep.
Speaker A:And.
Speaker A:And being able to honor that list because a lot of people see the list and even then they try to rationalize, well, he's only got one of these bad things on my bad list.
Speaker A:And yeah.
Speaker A:And it's like, don't make a list.
Speaker B:Of the bad things you Make a list of what we want.
Speaker B:Now I'll tell you.
Speaker B:I ask people what they want and silence.
Speaker B:Because they haven't thought about that.
Speaker B:They've only thought about what they don't want.
Speaker B:But that's not the way you put an order in at a restaurant.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker B:You don't say, here's all the things I don't want.
Speaker B:Well, they're going to stand there and say, well, what do you want?
Speaker B:And this is what we're talking about.
Speaker B:You're putting your order in with the universe or source or God, however you want to look at it.
Speaker B:And when you start concentrating on what you do want in the relationship and then you look at that list and you become that list, you're going to attract that person.
Speaker A:You're going to attract that person.
Speaker A:Absolutely.
Speaker B:Like attracts like.
Speaker B:It's not opposites attract.
Speaker A:No, not at all.
Speaker B:If you think people are opposites, there's something that's alike in both of them.
Speaker B:Because opposites attract is not really true.
Speaker B:It might look like it.
Speaker B:And it also might not be a great relationship either.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Well, I know.
Speaker A:I think, you know, when I think of opposites attract, I just kind of think of like.
Speaker A:Like I always used to joke and say, you know, there's always one crazy one in the relationship because one needs to kind of hold the other, tether the other one down.
Speaker A:I was always the crazy one.
Speaker A:So, like, my first husband was just like me.
Speaker A:He was crazy.
Speaker A:That did not work.
Speaker A:My second husband, complete opposite, because he tethered me down.
Speaker A:He was.
Speaker A:He was the.
Speaker A:He was the Ying to my yang.
Speaker A:He was like the.
Speaker A:The calm.
Speaker B:But there's something that's alike of you.
Speaker B:There's something that you.
Speaker B:You both have in common.
Speaker B:So it's.
Speaker B:It's not so much that they're opposites.
Speaker B:It's that you fit each other's.
Speaker B:Each other's ins and outs together.
Speaker A:Yeah, it complements together.
Speaker A:Yeah, absolutely.
Speaker A:Absolutely.
Speaker A:So when people have these stuck energy blocks, talk a little bit about how you work with people to undo energy blocks and what that kind of looks like.
Speaker A:Or what if someone.
Speaker A:How.
Speaker A:How would you know if someone had an energy block?
Speaker B:When I do an intuitive energy scan, I'm actually connecting with their energy.
Speaker B:Just like how we're connected right now.
Speaker B:Because I can do this online.
Speaker B:I've done it over the phone.
Speaker B: years ago in: Speaker B:So this isn't something that started over the pandemic.
Speaker B:I've been doing it for a while.
Speaker B:And what happens is, as we're connected just like we are now.
Speaker B:We can have this very meaningful, real connection.
Speaker B:And I can get information just asking source, give me the information I need for Tammy to know about her root chakra.
Speaker B:So when I'm doing that, if it's okay, I'll.
Speaker B:I'll scan your root chakra for a minute.
Speaker B:So I just want to connect a little bit deeper.
Speaker B:So I'm going to tap my wrists together, I'm going to tap third eye and ask Source.
Speaker B:Okay, show me Tammy's root chakra.
Speaker B:So what I'm getting is the root chakra is red and I'm getting red and I'm getting like a red couch, like a, covered in satin, like a, like a chaise lounge like that.
Speaker B:And it's covered in like red material.
Speaker B:It's very rich looking.
Speaker B:And there you are on the couch on this chaise and feeling really comfortable and really grounded and enjoying being there.
Speaker B:So what I would say from that is like that you feel comfortable in your body, that you're okay being physical and being here on earth.
Speaker B:Because there's sometimes when I see that and the person is not comfortable being physical, they would rather be spirit.
Speaker B:They don't like being in their body.
Speaker B:But for you, I see you just like lounging on this red shade and it's just, yeah, you're just really comfortable and you're like, yeah, here I am.
Speaker A:What you see is what you get.
Speaker B:Yes, yes.
Speaker B:And I'm fine with that.
Speaker B:I like there's a real feeling of like, yeah, I am grounded and I love being who I am.
Speaker A:Interesting.
Speaker B:If we go to a chakra that's blocked, we might see something completely different.
Speaker B:So each chakra has its own characteristics.
Speaker B:First, chakra is all about being comfortable, being physical, being here on earth, being in your body.
Speaker B:And it can be a block for something else.
Speaker B:But all the chakras have characteristics of each other and also feed each other.
Speaker B:So when I'm looking at sacral chakra for you, that's where I'm seeing that you had stuffed feelings from your childhood that, you know, they're not affecting you as much anymore.
Speaker B:They're still there, but they're still, they're not.
Speaker B:They just don't have the teeth anymore that they used to have.
Speaker B:So I'm kind of seeing like both past and present and seeing, you know, like, no, this is, this is healthy now.
Speaker B:But in the past there was, there was a lot of turmoil here.
Speaker B:And you know, it's not so much.
Speaker B:I mean, I can get really specific about it with people.
Speaker B:I Don't want to do that right now because we're recording this.
Speaker B:But.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker B:You know, somebody's going to say, oh, that's so general.
Speaker B:Of course she sees that.
Speaker B:But let me just say I'm not going to say everything here.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker B:It's a personal thing and it's a way of experiencing yourself as a holistic being to be seen through your chakras.
Speaker B:That's a very convenient structure for us to use.
Speaker B:See the banner right there?
Speaker B:Those are all the chakras.
Speaker B:And, and we can use that structure.
Speaker B:But I can also look at you through five element theory.
Speaker B:Okay, let's, let me see what your metal is.
Speaker B:Let's see what your wood.
Speaker B:What's going on with that?
Speaker B:So we can use anything to look at that.
Speaker B:I use the chakras because that's easy for me and I've been doing it for a long time.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Yes.
Speaker B:He knows.
Speaker A:Very cool.
Speaker A:So if you see someone that has like a.
Speaker A:Like if someone comes to you and they're like, what the hell?
Speaker A:Dr. Tanya English I don't know what's going on.
Speaker A:Like, I have no idea.
Speaker A:You call it stuck, sucks, whatever you want to call it.
Speaker A:I'm.
Speaker B:Yeah, it.
Speaker B:There's a lot of times when I'll see like a story of a person being killed because they know too much.
Speaker B:A lot of times when I'm working with somebody who's really intuitive and has been doing healing for a while, I'll see times in the past where they have been killed or tortured because they were the spiritual leader for their tribe.
Speaker B:And what happens to the spiritual leader when another tribe comes in to take over?
Speaker B:Well, they kill the spiritual leader because then people don't know what to do.
Speaker B:And so they're much more easily led into, you know, slavery or whatever they're going to do with them.
Speaker B:So it's very important for us to understand that when we have attacks happening on our knowledgeable people, people who have knowledge.
Speaker B:I'm thinking of universities and churches and places where people are studying and gathering knowledge.
Speaker B:When we have attacks on that, that's an attack on what we hold dear as human beings.
Speaker B:And that's our connection with source.
Speaker B:Whether you're an atheist or not, you still came from somewhere.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker B:So it doesn't really matter what, what your belief is.
Speaker B:What matters is how you respond to those kinds of attacks.
Speaker B:And we also look to see if there's attached entities because people have free will and they don't have to go toward the light when they die.
Speaker B:They can stick around and cause problems for people.
Speaker B:So we do prayers for that to help relieve.
Speaker B:And we're doing the prayer for the attached entity, not for the person they're attached to.
Speaker B:I mean, it benefits the person they're attached to, but it's really about them making the decision to move on.
Speaker B:You can't stay here.
Speaker B:You gotta go now.
Speaker B:You need to leave and you're gonna get blessings as you go and your loved ones are waiting for you.
Speaker B:So go now.
Speaker B:Yeah, the lights are on, it's 2am you can't, you don't have to go home, but you can't stay here.
Speaker B:But we say, you know, you do have to go home.
Speaker B:Your loved ones are waiting for you.
Speaker B:They're not.
Speaker B:They're going to give you blessings, they're going to give you what you want.
Speaker B:You can't get it here.
Speaker B:And there are people that when we do that prayer, they feel total relief.
Speaker B:So that's another way that things can be compromised and energy can be blocked.
Speaker B:You know, when we're talking about this and we're saying, well, how long does it, how, like if that's the case, how long does it take to feel better?
Speaker B:But sometimes it's instant because, I mean, think about it like this.
Speaker B:If you've never brushed your teeth your whole life and you brush your teeth for the first time, it's going to feel really good.
Speaker B:You're going to run your tongue over your teeth.
Speaker B:You're going to feel, it feels so good.
Speaker B:Are you going to eat again?
Speaker B:Yeah, you're going to have to brush your teeth again.
Speaker B:When we're doing this kind of work, are you going to have stress in your life again?
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker B:And there's layers of this, so it's not just the one and done kind of thing.
Speaker B:Although that happens.
Speaker B:And there are people who are doing that.
Speaker B:I just have found that people really, they, they'd like to be unburdened of this stuff, but they need to do it gradually because it's too much.
Speaker B:Like losing 40 pounds in a day would be really hard to do.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker B:And if it happened, you couldn't wear any of your clothes.
Speaker A:So it'd be very inconvenient walking around.
Speaker B:In a sarong, which, wait a minute, that sounds pretty good.
Speaker B:But you have to live in a warm climate though, so you have to, you have to do it gradually.
Speaker B:What, how long it takes for you is how long it takes for you.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker B:So we can't judge that and our thinking and how we think.
Speaker B:Well, I should be better by now.
Speaker B:Well, why, why should you be better by now.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:And I always say that.
Speaker A:And if you suppress these things for decades, they're still there.
Speaker A:Like, time does not heal things that get suppressed, period.
Speaker B:No, this is, this is a good thing to say.
Speaker B:Time does not heal all wounds.
Speaker B:Do they get scabs on them?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And then that leaves a scar.
Speaker B:So we're not talking about time healing wounds.
Speaker B:That's forgiveness level one.
Speaker B:Oh, yeah.
Speaker B:I forgave that a long time ago.
Speaker B:Well, let's check and make sure.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker B:So let's see if you really did forgive that.
Speaker B:And then when we're working on forgiveness, and I'm doing a masterclass on Sunday in a full day retreat in October on forgiveness, when we're working on forgiveness, we're naming all the things that we want to have, have said.
Speaker B:Even though we're told not to talk like that and not to have negative thoughts, we can say all those things and do it while we're tapping with the eft and it diffuses it.
Speaker B:And we've had people that just let go of years and years of grudges because grudges only hurt the person that is holding them.
Speaker A:Absolutely.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:No, I agree 100%.
Speaker A:So I'm going to ask you another question because this is one that you said to ask.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:What is your quick fix for relieving pain?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:So the first thing that you do is you do four count breathing.
Speaker B:So I'll ask you right now, anybody that's listening, think of the amount of stress you have in your life right now on a scale of 0 to 10.
Speaker B:And you can put it somewhere or just think of it.
Speaker B:What's the, what's the, what's the number between 0 and 10?
Speaker B:10's the worst it can possibly be.
Speaker B:0 is no stress at all.
Speaker B:Okay?
Speaker B:So just notice that right now.
Speaker B:And then we'll do four count breathing.
Speaker B:So you're going to breathe in for four counts, you're going to hold it in for four counts.
Speaker B:You're going to breathe out through your nose for four counts and hold it out for four counts.
Speaker B:And we're going to do that twice.
Speaker B:Twice.
Speaker B:So think of that number that you are right now, stress level.
Speaker B:And exhale all your air out.
Speaker B:And now breathe in through your nose.
Speaker C:One, two, three, four.
Speaker B:Hold it in.
Speaker C:One, two, three, Four.
Speaker B:Exhale through your nose.
Speaker C:One, two, Three, four.
Speaker B:Hold it out.
Speaker C:One, two, three, three, four.
Speaker B:Inhale.
Speaker C:One, two, three, 4.
Speaker B:Hold it.
Speaker C:One, two, three, FOUR.
Speaker B:Exhale.
Speaker C:One, two, Three, Four.
Speaker B:Hold it out.
Speaker C:One, Two, Three, Four.
Speaker C:Breathe normally.
Speaker B:Now.
Speaker B:Stress Levels should have gone down.
Speaker B:And if it didn't, keep doing that.
Speaker A:And that works for pain as well.
Speaker A:Like physical pain.
Speaker B:Works for physical pain.
Speaker B:Because you're putting your attention on something other than the pain, putting it on your breath.
Speaker B:When you put your attention on your breath, you're saying yes to life.
Speaker B:Because you can live without food for a while and you can live without water for a while, but four minutes without breathing.
Speaker B:So you want to put attention on your breath and do that.
Speaker B:Four count breathing and then let yourself breathe normally.
Speaker B:And then tap under your collarbone.
Speaker B:You can do two fingers, you can do one hand tap on your collarbone, both sides, and just say, I'm safe.
Speaker B:My body knows how to heal.
Speaker B:I'm safe.
Speaker B:My body is healing right now.
Speaker B:I know how to heal.
Speaker B:I release anything that is unlike love in my body.
Speaker C:I'm safe and I'm healing.
Speaker B:My body knows what to do.
Speaker B:I just release everything that's unlike love.
Speaker B:Let it go.
Speaker B:Know that my body is healing.
Speaker B:You can do that anytime.
Speaker B:You can do that in the grocery store.
Speaker B:Nobody knows what you're doing.
Speaker A:Yeah, no, I know.
Speaker A:And I love that with breathing because people are like, oh, I can't do all this stuff.
Speaker A:And I'm like, you always have your breath.
Speaker A:You can't.
Speaker A:You can breathe in and nobody knows what you're doing.
Speaker B:Like, that's the fastest, quickest way.
Speaker B:And I'm seeing it in places that I didn't think I'd see.
Speaker B:I'm seeing it in movies now.
Speaker B:Yeah, they'll say, do four square breathing.
Speaker B:And I counted that kind of fast.
Speaker B:I want to tell you it's one count per second.
Speaker B:So you can say 1, 1,000, 2 1,000, 3, 1,000, 4, 1,000.
Speaker A:That's right.
Speaker B:And once you get used to that rhythm, you can do it.
Speaker B:And if you can go to five or six, go ahead and do that.
Speaker B:That's really good for you.
Speaker B:And if you can't get to four, just do what you can.
Speaker B:Maybe three is okay.
Speaker B:Just allow yourself to sit with that.
Speaker B:Because when you sit with that in or out, your body's building up CO2 and it's going to make you breathe anyway.
Speaker B:So, yeah, it's perfectly normal thing to do.
Speaker B:And it's a great way for you to really get in touch with your body and your breath.
Speaker A:Yep.
Speaker A:And that's why we asked if it was, you know, good for physical pain.
Speaker A:I do it.
Speaker A:I.
Speaker A:When I. I have a.
Speaker A:Had a bad hip, it's not bothering me anymore.
Speaker A:But I used to do that, lay in Bed after a long night, my hip would just ache and I, I, I could get, I could get it between the box breathing or the just the four count breathing and the pulling in all that white energy, I was like, I got this.
Speaker A:I could get me.
Speaker A:Usually my husband's like, my husband's like, why did you take Reiki?
Speaker A:And I'm like, because I needed to be able to get myself from about a 9 pain level after a long day of work to about a two.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And you have to remember that the drugs that people are taking for those things are really just to manipulate your chemistry and they don't really get to the root cause.
Speaker B:But when you're doing the breathing, things will pop into your mind.
Speaker B:And what I have my patients do and my clients do is make a list of all the things that have pissed you off all your life.
Speaker B:Things that happened, situations you can't forgive, things you wish you hadn't done.
Speaker B:Make that list, number it.
Speaker B:And then I'm going to ask source, which number on the list do we need to work with first?
Speaker B:And I'm going to get a yes on one of those so we can clear that stuff up easily.
Speaker B:Because I want to remind everybody that disease doesn't happen from something outside of you.
Speaker B:Generally it happens because there's something that's not working inside of you.
Speaker B:Healing comes from within too.
Speaker B:So when we take responsibility, and that's not a heavy load, that's a light load.
Speaker B:Because when we take responsibility, we're saying, I can do this, I have the power to do this.
Speaker B:Most people have power they haven't even used yet.
Speaker A:Oh, most, Almost everybody, I would reckon to guess.
Speaker B:Like we forget.
Speaker B:This is a huge, amazing, powerful thing.
Speaker B:And it isn't just stuck here inside our head.
Speaker B:It's around us in the field of energy that we are.
Speaker B:My business is called Quantum Healing International because we are quantum physics beings.
Speaker B:Quantum physics is the physics of living systems.
Speaker B:Medicine uses Newtonian systems like the apple falling from the tree, billiard balls on a pool table.
Speaker B:Hit this one, it hits this one, it hits this one, it goes in the.
Speaker B:That's not how human beings work.
Speaker B:We're quantum physics beings.
Speaker B:So our thoughts and our spirit and if we ignore those things, that's what gets us into trouble.
Speaker B:There's four legs on the chair of health.
Speaker B:There's physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
Speaker B:Now if you leave one leg off, are you going to have a stable chair?
Speaker A:No.
Speaker A:Really?
Speaker B:Not really.
Speaker B:You can have a three legged stool, but it's not that stable.
Speaker B:Yeah, better I would Say, anybody, two.
Speaker A:Legs isn't doing your squat.
Speaker B:My chair has like six legs on it.
Speaker A:I was going to say, I think my.
Speaker B:I would add in a couple of things there.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:So when we, when we actually address all of those.
Speaker B:Those four things, then we can.
Speaker B:And there's others people can add in there.
Speaker B:But when we address those four basic needs, spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical, then we're going to get holistic health.
Speaker B:And you can address all of those things yourself.
Speaker B:You really can.
Speaker A:Absolutely.
Speaker B:And that's why I'm here to help people do that.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:Necessary.
Speaker B:You're not meant to do it by yourself.
Speaker A:No, no.
Speaker A:And then that's why we do this podcast, because I'm sure somebody's like, okay, I'm gonna try the breathing.
Speaker A:But that's not always, you know, that might.
Speaker A:Will work.
Speaker A:But yes, it's.
Speaker A:It's.
Speaker A:It's layers and it's layers and layers and healing.
Speaker A:And if you got that stuck feeling and you just know that there's a better life out there and you just don't know how to get there, you need.
Speaker A:You need help, you need guidance, you need somebody.
Speaker B:You need somebody who's walked that walk in front of you.
Speaker B:They don't have to be that far ahead.
Speaker B:They can be one step ahead and they can help.
Speaker B:And there's lots of people probably in your life, and if they're not in your life, you can get them in your life.
Speaker B:That.
Speaker B:I mean, one of the reasons why you have the podcast is so people can tune into that and say, oh, there are people that are.
Speaker B:That can help me.
Speaker B:There are people that have done this before.
Speaker B:There are people out there who know how to get from A to B. I tell people, I'm not the healer, I'm the healer gps.
Speaker B:I tell you, go forward, go to this place, think about this, do this action that's going to help you get there.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker B:And it really does make a difference because I can heal myself.
Speaker B:And ultimately we're all healing each other too, and that's a beautiful thing, so why not do that?
Speaker A:Absolutely.
Speaker A:Absolutely.
Speaker A:Thank you so much for coming on.
Speaker A:This is so much fun.
Speaker A:But before you go, I want you to tell people, if they want to work with you, want one of the energy clearings, want to try something?
Speaker A:What does it look like?
Speaker A:What does that process look like for you?
Speaker B:You can go to my link tree and there's all different things there.
Speaker B:Link tree at Quantum Healing International, and that's there.
Speaker B:But you can do a claim your power chat with me, where we talk about what it is that you want to do and find out if there's a way for us to help.
Speaker B:So those are free.
Speaker B:You can do a spotlight intuitive energy scan where we just spend 30 minutes and I'll scan and see what's really coming up and then we can talk about what your next steps might be.
Speaker B:I have lots of different programs people can do.
Speaker B:I generally like to start people out with a three month program.
Speaker B:But you can do other things before you get to that.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker B:There's a YouTube channel.
Speaker B:You can watch interviews I've done with other healers and blues musicians, talking about why blues is a healer and what happened to me in that situation.
Speaker B: Because in: Speaker B:And then I went to the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival, which was right in the town where I was living in Davenport, Iowa.
Speaker B:A lot of you might not know this, but one border of Iowa is the Mississippi river and the other western border is the Missouri River.
Speaker B:So we were on the river and I had an amazing healing in that festival with the Blind Boys of Alabama in the 10th stage.
Speaker B:And then fast forward 20 years, 25 years and my band is in the 10th stage and I'm delivering healing with the blues.
Speaker A:So.
Speaker A:Wow.
Speaker B:One of the things I want to make sure that you all know is that when you start doing this work, your life is going to change.
Speaker B:Things will be different and people might leave your life and other people might come in, but things will absolutely change in your life because you're opening up to all the possibilities of the universe.
Speaker B:And they're not all bad.
Speaker B:They're.
Speaker B:They're beautiful.
Speaker B:And you can have full circle moments like that.
Speaker B:So I tell people all the time, you could have it all, just maybe not all at once.
Speaker A:Right, Exactly.
Speaker A:It might take a while, might take just a minute, but.
Speaker A:No, but it's worth going out there and looking.
Speaker A:It's go worth absolutely every second you'll find.
Speaker A:Yep.
Speaker B:Knocking the door will be open to you.
Speaker A:Absolutely.
Speaker A:So before you leave, thank you so much.
Speaker A:And we will put that all the links in the show notes and everything else.
Speaker A:Before you leave, I want one last final words of wisdom.
Speaker A:I didn't tell you I was going to ask that.
Speaker A:What's your final words of wisdom?
Speaker A:What would that be?
Speaker B:You can absolutely find treasure in tragedy if you hold space for that to happen and you dig deep.
Speaker B:And that's why it's good to have someone with you that knows what they're doing.
Speaker B:Because when you want to go into that tragedy and pull that treasure out.
Speaker B:You need to have somebody holding that space for you.
Speaker B:So there's always something there for you.
Speaker B:There's always a deep wall of blessings there for you.
Speaker B:I know.
Speaker B:It's true.
Speaker B:It happened to me.
Speaker B:And lots of other people have found amazing experiences in their life because they decided that they weren't going to just play victim in that, that they were going to find what was the good that came out of that.
Speaker B:When that baby was stillborn, I thought, am I just saying that everything happens to the highest good, or do I really believe that?
Speaker B:And I decided to believe that.
Speaker B:And things have turned out very well.
Speaker A:Absolutely well.
Speaker A:Well said.
Speaker A:I mean, I can't say it any better, but thank you so much for coming on.
Speaker A:I so appreciate you.
Speaker B:Thanks, Tammy.
Speaker B:Appreciate it.
Speaker A:You're welcome.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:And for everybody else out there listening, you heard it.
Speaker A:Just keep going and keep going and know that you're worth it, no matter what that inner, little inner critic voice is saying to you know that you were born inherently and divinely beautiful and perfect, and you deserve it.
Speaker A:So thank you, guys, and I will see you next week.
Speaker A:Bye.
